Charles Rohrer awarded Best Resident Paper at AAFS annual meeting.
Congratulations to Dr. Charles Rohrer for being awarded the Pathology/Biology Section Best Resident Paper Award at the 2023 American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS) Annual Meeting. Dr. Rohrer was selected by a committee for the award for his manuscript “COVID-19 Associated Myocarditis.” At this same conference Dr. Rohrer also gave a well-received platform presentation on the topic of “Postmortem Genetic Testing in Sudden Unexplained Death: A Public Health Laboratory Experience.”
The AAFS is a society for forensic science professionals founded in 1948 that currently has more than 6,500 members from around the globe. Their 75th Anniversary Conference was held in February 2023 Orlando, Florida.
