Congratulations to Kristina Matkowskyj, MD, PhD, on receiving an NIH S10 Biomedical Research Support Shared Instrumentation Grant to purchase an automated tissue microarrayer. The new microarrayer will be housed in the Translational Research Initiatives in Pathology (TRIP) Laboratory which provides support to pathology faculty and trainees working on translational and collaborative research projects and also partners with the UW Carbone Cancer Center’s Biobank as part of their Translational Science BioCore (TSB). Congratulations to all those who worked to put together the winning proposal – Dr. Matkowskyj, TRIP lab leadership and support staff, and department research administrator, Amanda Espinosa!
