Congratulations to Jessica Lang, PhD, on being selected for a New Investigator Program grant award by the Wisconsin Partnership Program (WPP) and the Partnership Education and Research Committee (PERC). Dr. Lang’s proposal, Functional and genomic comparison of ovarian cancer cells in ascites to primary tumor and associated cell-free DNA, will receive $150,000 over two years. Award recipients are selected based on a full application submission process followed by an individual interview.
New Investigator Program career development awards support early-career faculty in initiating innovative research and/or educational approaches that address health and health equity in Wisconsin. The program funds innovative proposals that may be leveraged for external funding.
