Dr. Allen-Hoffmann was honored March 23, 2022 for her outstanding achievements in founding Stratatech Corporation and developing a cell-based skin graft to treat adult burn patients. The graft, which was recently approved for use by the FDA, was developed from cells originally isolated and characterized in the laboratory of Pathology Professor Allen-Hoffmann at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
