Congratulations to Shahriar Salamat who was selected to receive the 2020 Reza Teaching Award – a peer-nominated award presented annually for exemplary dedication to the educational mission of the department and for success in teaching students at every level. Dr. Salamat was nominated and selected based on his long dedication to the educational mission of UWSMPH and UW Health. Dr. Salamat has taught hundreds of trainees in pathology, neurology, and neurosurgery, as well as graduate and medical students, in the intricacies of neuroanatomy, neuropathology, and neuromuscular disorders during his career in the department.
