Welcome to Drs. Jefree Schulte and Madhuchhanda Roy!

Jefree Schulte, MD, joins the department on July 1st as an Assistant Professor (CHS) and member of the Thoracic and Bone & Soft Tissue surgical pathology subspecialty team. Dr. Schulte received his MD at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford and completed AP/CP residency at the University of Chicago Medicine, serving as Chief Resident in 2017-2018. Dr. Schulte stayed at U Chicago and completed two fellowships – first in Thoracic and Head & Neck Pathology and then in Gynecologic Pathology.

Madhuchhanda Roy, MBBS, PhD, joins our department as a Clinical Assistant Professor with a focus on anatomic and clinical pathology at Meriter-Unity Point and UW Hospitals with additional participation in pathology outreach. Dr. Roy was a pathology resident in our department from 2014-2018 during which time she also served a year as Chief Resident. She went on to complete fellowships in Surgical Pathology and in Breast Pathology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Madhu’s first day will be July 20th. Welcome back!
