Biography

Leah received her bachelor’s degree in Biology and Criminal Justice from UW Platteville and received her D.O. from the Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. During medical school she participated in the Health Professions Scholarship Program for the U.S. Air Force and currently holds the rank of Captain. Following residency, she has accepted the Forensic Pathology Fellowship position at the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office in Minneapolis, MN. Her career goals include working as a medical examiner for the Armed Forces Medical Examiner’s Office. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, as well as running, reading and hunting.
