Alain graduated from the Des Moines College of Osteopathic Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree from University of Iowa in Honors Biology with Distinction and minors in both Chemistry and Philosophy. He organizes the tennis interest group and enjoys swimming, biking, learning new languages, and cooking. He spent an elective in a Peruvian hospital’s anatomic pathology lab. His current research interests are in gynecologic oncology.
