The University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is recruiting for an academic neuropathologist (non-tenure track). The successful applicant will be expected to provide neuropathology clinical expertise in surgical as well as autopsy pathology, and also to contribute actively to the teaching of residents, fellows and medical students, mentor trainees, and to participate in continuing medical education programs. The individual will be expected to participate in the NIA-funded Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC) which provides numerous opportunities for collaboration. The University of Wisconsin Medical Center is a tertiary care center with state-of-the-art neuro-imaging, neurology and neurological surgery programs as well as comprehensive programs in cancer, transplantation, Alzheimer’s disease and trauma.
- MD, DO or MD/PhD
- Board certified in AP or AP/CP
- Neuropathology board eligible
- Neuropathology clinical expertise in surgical pathology as well as autopsy pathology
- Qualified for unrestricted licensure for the practice of medicine in Wisconsin
